Morgan Nelson, a senior biological sciences major from Vicksburg, receives the Miss ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ crown during the annual pageant on Thursday [Sept. 28] at Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium. Miss ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ is a preliminary pageant for Miss Mississippi and Miss America. Nelson received the crown from Anna-Katherine Thompson, Miss ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ 2022.
