Preparing Computational Molecular Scientists

More than 30 individuals representing 14 states came to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ last week as part of a summer school program hosted by the Institute of Computational Molecular Science Education, a National Science Foundation-funded program led by Neeraj Rai, Ergon, Inc. Distinguished Professor in ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ's Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering. The students that came to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ learned advanced computational techniques to enhance their capabilities as molecular scientists and were able to present their research at a poster session. Avery Hill, left, a graduate student from Tulane University, and Venkata Punyapu, a graduate student from Clemson University, took time during the poster session to discuss their research.
