Participants in the Mississippi Summer Transportation Institute test how much weight their bridges made from popsicle sticks can hold. The two-week residential camp, a partnership between ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ's Richard A. Rula School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Mississippi Department of Transportation, exposes high school students from across the state to careers in transportation and engineering.
