The Mississippi Horse Park on the campus of Mississippi State continues to serve as a drive-through COVID-19 vaccine distribution site. The multipurpose event facility is being used by the Mississippi State Department of Health and Oktibbeha County Emergency Management to distribute COVID-19 vaccines as part of MSDH’s ongoing vaccination efforts across the state. In addition to making the facility available for use, ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ is providing police and emergency management personnel for logistical support. ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ Emergency Manager Brent Crocker said university leaders are working with local and state partners to set up an additional COVID-19 vaccine distribution site centrally located on campus to serve the college community.
