The ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ team celebrates after winning the inaugural Unified Sports Magnolia Madness rivalry basketball game against the University of Southern Mississippi Tuesday [April 9] at Humphrey Coliseum. During the game, traditional ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ students teamed up with students from , while USM students were paired with Special Olympics Mississippi athletes from the Hattiesburg area. Unified Sports is a Special Olympics program dedicated to promoting social inclusion by joining people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team for shared sports training and competition experiences. .
