ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ President Mark E. Keenum cuts the cake to celebrate the university's 140th birthday Wednesday [Feb. 28], alongside ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ students, staff, alumni and friends. The party was organized by the ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ Alumni Association and presented by Renasant Bank. In addition to the , the university is observing the milestone in conjunction with Hail State Giving Days. Since ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ was founded in 1878, the philanthropy event goal is to raise 1,000 donations from alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends in 1,878 minutes Feb. 28-March 1.
