Retired U.S. Olympic gymnast and entrepreneur Shawn Johnson East spoke Tuesday [Nov. 1] at ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ about the importance of hard work and self-confidence in pursuit of one’s passion. Now a certified trainer for Nike, Johnson East said her lifelong pursuit of a career as an all-around gymnast always has centered around her love for the sport.
