STARKVILLE, Miss.—The ̫ӳ Alumni Association is announcing the 2024 edition of Homecoming Oct. 31-Nov. 3 to celebrate the spirit of ̫ӳ and vibrant community of Starkville this fall.

This year’s celebration promises to be a memorable occasion as ̫ӳ and the city of Starkville invite students, alumni and families to unite for a weekend of food, fun and football.

“The ̫ӳ Alumni Association is proud to collaborate with the Greater Starkville Development Partnership to deliver a Homecoming weekend full of events and activities for the entire community,” said Jeff Davis, ̫ӳ Alumni Association executive director. “We are excited for alumni and friends to reminisce about their time at State, re-experience campus and Starkville, and create new memories as they reconnect with ̫ӳ and other Bulldogs.”

Festivities kick off on Thursday, Oct. 31, with the Young Alumni Welcome to the City event at Fire Station Park.

The wide array of events planned throughout the weekend ensure fun activities catering to all interests.

Friday, Nov. 1: 

—Admissions tours for prospective students: Explore campus and learn about academic programs at ̫ӳ.

—Museum tours: Visit the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana, Dunn-Seiler Museum, Mississippi Entomological Museum, and John Grisham Room.

—MAFES Cheese Store: Open for visitors on Friday and Saturday.

—Welcome table at the Welcome Center adjacent to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore: Meet and greet with fellow Bulldogs.

—True Maroon Trek: Join the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by Alumni Delegates, Student Association, and Maroon VIP student groups.

—Step Show at Newell Grissom: Tickets will be available for purchase at a later date.

Saturday, Nov. 2: 

—Tailgate at The Mill: Celebrate the presentation of the Homecoming Court and meet in designated areas for reunion years.For tickets, visit .

—Football Game vs. UMass: Cheer on the Bulldogs during the Homecoming and Family Weekend game. Kickoff is at 3:15 p.m. Single game tickets are available at . Use Alumni Code: HC24 

Sunday, Nov. 3: 

—Nondenominational Service at the Chapel of Memories: Sponsored by the Office of Parent Services at 9:30 a.m.
