NSF CAREER Award event scheduled for Jan. 18

The Mississippi State Office of Research Development will host an NSF CAREER kickoff event featuring a webinar provided by Broader Impacts experts Advancing Research Impact in Society from 1-3 p.m. Jan. 18 at Room 822 at 301 Research Blvd. in the Thad Cochran Research Park.

Seating is limited for this in-person event. RSVP and reserve a spot by emailing development@ord.msstate.edu. If you cannot attend, reach out to the same email address to get access to many other CAREER proposal-related resources from ORD.

The CAREER Award is one of the most important and prestigious grants an early career faculty member can receive. This webinar will focus on strategies for developing a competitive NSF CAREER Award, with an emphasis on the broader impacts and education plan.

ORD staff will be available for questions after the event and will make available all resources for CAREER proposal development.

Due to the high number of CAREER proposals submitted, ORD can offer one initial review, one responsiveness review and one final editorial review per proposer.
