Ambassador Deborah L. Birx, the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, was in Mississippi on Wednesday conferring with Gov. Tate Reeves and other state officials. While in the state, Dr. Birx reached out to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ for a virtual review of COVID-19 protocols and to congratulate ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ for successfully managing the COVID-19 pandemic on campus and with the surrounding community.Ìý Birx offered ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ President Mark E. Keenum, Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. David Shaw and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Regina Y. Hyatt advice on managing the pandemic moving forward.
