Titled “A Little Help from my Friends: Lessons Learned from Microbiome Metagenomics,” the online event will discuss how metagenomic analyses of the human microbiome reveal novel functions of our constant companions, from genes for antibiotic resistance to cancer risk and susceptibility to treatment. These novel functions play an important role in human health and disease.
