On Jan. 29 (noon-6 p.m.), 30 (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) and 31 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.), is hosting "A Peace of My Mind: American Stories" exhibition in Section M of Colvard Student Union's Foster Ballroom.

Based on award-winning Minnesota photographer John Noltner's 40,000-mile journey across the U.S., the exhibition consists of 52 inspiring stories with portraits of diverse people whom Noltner asked, “What does peace mean to you?”

Upon request, Noltner can conduct a tour of the exhibition. Faculty and staff who are interested in a tour for their class or student organization are encouraged to email Kei Mamiya at kmamiya@saffairs.msstate.edu.

On Thursday [Jan. 30] from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Noltner will hold a studio in Foster Ballroom (Section M). All are welcome to participate. Noltner will take a photograph of each interested individual and will collect his/her story based on questions about valuing differences and finding unity at Mississippi State. Portraits from the studio will be shared at a later date.
