2017 Homecoming Court reigns this week at ̫ӳ

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Human development and family science major Victoria V. Vivians of Forest and psychology major Anthony C. Daniels of Brookhaven reign this week as 2017 Homecoming Queen and Homecoming King at ̫ӳ.

Vivians and Daniels recently were chosen in campus-wide elections. Along with eight class maids, the two seniors will be presented formally during halftime Saturday [Oct. 21] of the ̫ӳ vs. University of Kentucky football game in Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. Seniors Nicolas D. “Nick” Harris of Millington, Tennessee, and Anne Marie Currie of Caruthersville, Missouri, are this year’s Mr. and Miss ̫ӳ. They also will be introduced at halftime.

Harris is a communication major concentrating in public relations; Currie, a biochemistry major concentrating in pre-dental.

Each undergraduate class is represented by two maids. The 2017 homecoming court includes:

SENIOR—Bridgetté J. Hudak of Woodstock, Georgia, and Briazja N. Wade of Byram. Hudak is a communication/broadcasting and public relations major; Wade, a marketing major.

JUNIOR—Charley C. Rhea of Bessemer, Alabama, and Molly F. Wells of Spring Hill, Tennessee. Rhea is a mechanical engineering major; Wells, an elementary education/middle school major.

SOPHOMORE—Meredith A. Bradford of Madison and Myah K. Watson of Horn Lake. Bradford is an educational psychology major; Watson, a civil engineering major.

FRESHMAN— Erin F. Linley of Starkville and Malon V. Stratton of Ridgeland. Linley is a marketing/international business and foreign language/Spanish double-major; Stratton, a biological engineering/biomedical engineering major.
